Furniture Care

All of my furniture is genuine vintage and while care has been taken to refinish these pieces to a professional standard, they often will show signs of a previous life in the way of minor imperfections relative to their age. You should expect high quality craftmanship rather than a factory finish.  Also, please note that where glass is included, the original glass is likely not to be toughened and therefore may not comply with modern safety standards. 

 

Freshly painted furniture can take up to 28 days to harden. We advise during this period that you take extra care. The paint I use is waterproof. However, I would still recommend you use coasters and dusting should only be done with a slightly damp lint free cloth. Any chemicals should be avoided. Coasters should be used as wet or hot items can leave marks and damage the finish.
