This handsome vintage oak bureau has been limed-washed to bring out the beautiful grain. With its country charm, it would look great in any vintage or modern home.
 
The inside of the workstation has been painted in a pale blue and floral paper has been added to the back of the cubby holes and work area.
 
The drawers have also been painted and lined with the same paper.
 
The sides of the drawers have been stamped with French writing and the original brass handles have been restored to their former glory.
 
The whole piece has been given three coats of matt varnish for durability.
 
The sides of the drawers have been waxed to ensure smooth running.
